Hello, my name is Billy Mitchell. I am a church planter in Port Saint Lucie, FL. I am 29, but I read on a 35 year old level. I am married to Ellie and have a two year old daughter named Elle. Yes, that is right, Ellie and Elle. It is very cute, but also very confusing.

My family was in New Orleans (or as we cool people say “N.O”) when Katrina hit. We were planning on me graduating from Seminary in December and then arriving in Port Saint Lucie (or as we cool people say “PSL”) in January. I guess God had other plans. Katrina hit in late August. We were homeless for about two months and then finally arrived here. Fortunately, we got here 10 days before Hurrican Wilma hit. After evacuating from that for a couple of weeks we were able to return and actually begin planting Whispering Pines Community Church.

Things have been going well with “WPCC” (I’m learning that I like abbreviations). We are having our first corporate worship service this Sunday night. Please be in prayer for us.

Well, that’s all I’ve got right now.
